I’m Sara and I am a counsellor providing both short and long term therapy to adult individuals over the age of 18 in person, online via Zoom or by phone.
Compassion is a value I have always lived by. Helping people to overcome what might be causing them internal stress and imbalance is what drew me to counselling. My mission is to offer an environment of warmth, understanding and support. By offering a safe, reflective space, I value the collaborative experience in working with my clients to help them find positive ways to overcome these and relieve the internal disquiet. I work on a 1:1 basis and have worked in a number of charitable settings as well as in private practice.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute and a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling from Middlesex University. I am also a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) which sets the standards for counselling and psychotherapy and abide by their code of ethics. As a member of ACTO, the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online, I am also certified to carry out counselling online.
In order to keep my skills up to date, I regularly attend short training courses and workshops throughout the year. My work is also fully insured and professionally supervised.
